Well, they do say that an inflated ego can be a coping mechanism. So I'm guessing whoever hurt her, made a pretty big oopsie for her to program her own puppets to just smother her in glaze and praise whenever she so much as walks by. I gotta say tho, programming an army of puppets to just recite fine poetry about how drop dead fabulous you are, has got to be one of my favorite coping mechanisms so far (my theory of course). Like I'm actually impressed, I love it.
