Make sure alongside working on fundamentals you save time to draw things you want to! I know I only stay motivated when I’m doing things I like, but fundamentals are important so…
I think its also good practice to keep brushing up on fundamentals as you become more experienced as an artist. You're never too pro to be learning ways to improve.
I also recommend combining this with finding something to draw that you enjoy! One teaches the skills, the other nurtures your passion that makes you keep going. Learn the skills, but more importantly, have fun ❤
This revived my passion to go back to your program and finish out term one!!!
The blowing effect never gets old
awesomeeee ill make sure to work on these and you have been helping me out alot on my art journey thank u teacher!
And there's a word in It that's important too. Fun-damentals.
Thanks for dropping these little tips dude. I'm slowly getting back into art, and love these.
this short was honestly so useful because everyone keeps saying I should practice the fundamentals, but because I am so unorganized I never really know where to start and what to do
I decided to learn blender and tried the donut tutorial, then I took a break from that and went back to drawing and I noticed that drawing became more easier for me. Sculpting and creating things from basic shapes, seeing how lighting reflects on them, etc certainly helped me even though I haven’t even done it for long. I know it isn’t going to work for everyone but maybe give it a shot
Am so focused on Marc that am forgetting my fundamentals 😅 Awesome short dude
I could’ve sworn Thanos had six stones. 😅
Fundamentals is the key to rule them all! 😂
Dont forget story, thats pretty important for design.
Thank you. ❤ As an artist that didn't really followed any guidlines early in the Art of the jurney, i still struggle sometimes and still think i lack. Knowing that quick guide i know on what to Focus. Thank you <3
Hey Marc, i got your course a couple of weeks ago and by the first video i already notice a difference kinda like I put some glasses that let me see as an artist. Thank you for your dedication!
im not yet Fundamental. but yet i still watch your video step by step
i’ve always loved drawing, but growing up i never had the patience. i thought i could get away with not doing the fundamentals because i was decent without them, so in my art class, during high school, i always thought it was boring and pointless and never put in any effort. needless to say, i no longer feel that way. i really wish i could go back in time and slap my younger self for being so stupid and get on with it. i did learn them to a degree, but i’m currently mastering them, especially anatomy which is really kicking my butt. i’m 22 and wasted so much time that i could’ve spent improving. anyways, i’m doing it now and that’s all that matters.
