@YTartschool

Do you have the need for speed? Have you ever wondered what Barbie would look like if she hit the gym? So many questions, this video has all the answers 🤡

@b.c.5555

Thank you Marc, I watched it at 2x speed to learn how to draw faster faster

@useerhidden

timestamps:
1:40 don't zoom in

@MataNataM

Marc: don’t zoom in
Me, doing pixel art on my phone : I’m gonna pretend I didn’t hear that

@NewCommander

Marc has an amazing ability to upload tutorials just when we need them. he is a genius of the lamp, or rather, a genius of the timing.

@demoniac4821

Every time i i am in my comfort zone i feel like i don't put enough effort into my art. Because i feel comfortable and basically starting re-invent art-style again, and again.

@AroWolfArts

Because I have a tendency of overdoing it and trying to jump way too far ahead when trying to draw something these tips will be a literal godsend for me once I've internalized them.

@bonoshii

staying in your comfort zone is probably the greatest advice you can give any artist, improve little by little don't try learning new things with every art piece

@Mizizi96

6:18 I really liked it when Marc said I'm not a loser😆!!! Feels nice

@sansaraee

Notes:

Do not zoom in! Do not waste time on small details that will eventually go to waste, or you can use a bigger brush. You should try setting the size at the display size it will show up ads.

Break up different parts of drawing into three segments: big, medium, and small. As you complete one segment, you may move onto the next.

Most importantly: work mostly on what you're familiar with, and introduce new things, lightly and slowly. Don't overwhelm yourself!

@freebee172

So ,this way. I can balance out between learning new things and work in my comfort zone. Thank u, Marc.

Anyway ,when I go practicing new things. I think I also have to balance that out. I wouldn't practice on something that too hard or too easy for me.

@Split_tails

Marc: "don't. zoom. in."
Me a traditional artist: I could zoom in?!

@JakauYT

the shape of ur artstyle is so goregous uauuauauagg

@archi4u

I usually use mechanical pencils and paper, and people, including my professor, ALWAYS tell me that my sketchbook looks better compared to my digital art... I TRIED so hard to make it have the same feeling and vibe but I still can't??. After watching this video, I realized why it's weird in digital art... I used to constantly zoom in to fix a single line for hours... And just to make those line thinner and thinner as it goes invisible in full picture?? Shit I messed up

 Oh, and here's a tip for someone struggling with their comfort zone: if you want to draw something you're not used to, just take out a sketchbook and dedicate some pages to studying that specific thing you have to draw like A full study but quick. If you're having art block i recommend you to take amount of caffeine and blast your fav song at max volume It always works, especially when you have a deadline pointing a nuclear warhead over you.

@princechibi

My favorite 10:55 minutes of the day ❤✨

@matekotyinszki8653

Don't underestimate the power of long studies tho! 20-40 hour studies really puts you into a deep learning kind of state which allowed me to make massive progress in a short amount of time. I see many beginner artists doing these insanely fast 1-5 minute gesture drawings which I don't think is the right thing to do as a beginner. There are so many things you need to learn before figure drawing, like good lineart, perspective, constructive drawing, measuring, proportions, composition and anatomy.

@aratakicheeto8448

Love you, Mark! Been following every video tutorials/tips you posted ever since the start of my digital art career during the pandemic until today and improved a lot. One of the best art teachers!

@That_SaladGuy

That intro is literally me rn lol. I took a break, but your videos always get me hyped to get back to it.

@Pottan23

Marc. Gesture drawing is kicking my ass, but every once in awhile i manage to get one done in the timeframe that actually look anatomically okay and the dopamine rush is amazing

@Purplethingyt

How the heck do you always manage to answer the questions i am always asking the very day you upload a vid with the answers?? You are like the best art teacher for this drawing style online!
