I still got a light controller that came out of a bar in Iowa City called Granddaddy's. They used it to control the colored lights in their see through dance floor back in the 70's when disco was still a thing.

I made up some light boxes and used it for a band I started in 1980.

You mentioned in ear monitors. I don't miss dragging PA monitors around and trying to position them where the mics wouldn't feed back in bars with limited space.

In ear monitors were just becoming a thing when I quit playing live. They were expensive and I only had a few friends in bands that could afford them.

Since it's curved, you could make a circle of lights mounted to a pole in the center. I always wondered if those ear monitors helped, I guess they do. p. s. Put the rubber washer between the body of the light and the bracket (even if you have to slightly bend the bracket) when tightened, the light will stay in place.
Keep warm up there.

thats a really good deal you can find units that cost more with less functions for sure

@warrenking1815

Nice lighting system.

@pileofstuff

Is that a standard PCB that they've bent into a curve to fit the front panel?

Disco never died 😂.
