I retired at 60, and set off to see as much of the world as I could afford. I made three visits to India, and absolutely adore it. I'm too old now, but I so wish I had seen more.

@antediluvial

I’m a geologist in College right now and I love using your videos to find real world examples for the terms we are learning. Thank you!

One more facts about India's geography, India has world's smallest and largest river islands in the state of Assam. Brahmaputra river is home to both smallest(Umananda Island) and largest(Majuli Island) islands in the world.

@porcheriecosmique5865

As a French Indian lover, thank you for this short presentation.

@TJSaw

India is a geologist’s and a mapmaker’s dream.

@pavankumark6553

Appreciate the fact that you explicitly mentioned about the border disputes and made it clear for using such map of India. Made sure that nobody's sentiments are hurt.

@johnc2438

Thanks for the geographical survey. Enjoyed the quick -- but quite thorough -- trip around the country. Salute to you and all India from a retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. 😊

@urdad9853

@ChiSa123

10:20 Very happy you covered the islands as well as I was beginning to worry that you were only focussing on the mainland!

@vikku_19

As our vedas describes India:- The country that lies north of the ocean and south of the snowy mountains is called Bharatam; there dwell the descendants of Bharata. My motherland, My beautiful home, My Karmbhoomi. Nothing can ever be beautiful than you.

@2cr8gdtimes

A lovely simple way to show rich diverse Indian geography. Very well done indeed. Thank you. It is truly amazing that freshwater rivers like Godavari, Krishna and Cauvery were extolled as sacred, to be immensely revered, 100s and 100s of decades ago, much before invaders, 'conquerors' and annexing this land to an 'Empire' reached the Indian peninsula.

@RahulSethi0

Correction - The Thar desert is not just one arid and dry region in india. There are 2 others. Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. These are both high altitude cold deserts ,geographically like the Tibetan plateau.

@nunodfes2

This video, combined with that background music, brought me back to my great memories from the time i spent in India some years ago :) oh the nostalgia. Magical country. Thank you

In short, India is a video game map.

Planes, mountain, rainforest, dessert, tropical island, and multiple rivers.

@AmlanAbhijit-sz8gc

As a Indian I love how you put the disclaimer about the maps before starting the videos because even though it's a very sensative topic some Western youtuber have the audacity to talk about it like they know everything about the situations when in reality they don't know horse shìt about it
