I retired at 60, and set off to see as much of the world as I could afford. I made three visits to India, and absolutely adore it. I'm too old now, but I so wish I had seen more.

@TJSaw

India is a geologist’s and a mapmaker’s dream.

@AK-zi2rg

In short, India is a video game map.

Planes, mountain, rainforest, dessert, tropical island, and multiple rivers.

One more facts about India's geography, India has world's smallest and largest river islands in the state of Assam. Brahmaputra river is home to both smallest(Umananda Island) and largest(Majuli Island) islands in the world.

@vikku_19

As our vedas describes India:- The country that lies north of the ocean and south of the snowy mountains is called Bharatam; there dwell the descendants of Bharata. My motherland, My beautiful home, My Karmbhoomi. Nothing can ever be beautiful than you.

@mysteriousboy4274

Geography of india in short
"India is everything"

@porcheriecosmique5865

As a French Indian lover, thank you for this short presentation.

@manjuhs8444

It's like separate earth, every type of environment is present. God has created this country

@urdad9853

I'm a retired American Latino man and I have always loved India, Indian people and Indian food....I hope to visit India next year for the first time....

@RahulSethi0

Correction - The Thar desert is not just one arid and dry region in india. There are 2 others. Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. These are both high altitude cold deserts ,geographically like the Tibetan plateau.

@AmlanAbhijit-sz8gc

As a Indian I love how you put the disclaimer about the maps before starting the videos because even though it's a very sensative topic some Western youtuber have the audacity to talk about it like they know everything about the situations when in reality they don't know horse shìt about it

@antediluvial

I’m a geologist in College right now and I love using your videos to find real world examples for the terms we are learning. Thank you!

@johnc2438

Thanks for the geographical survey. Enjoyed the quick -- but quite thorough -- trip around the country. Salute to you and all India from a retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. 😊

@prototropo

I am very grateful for this presentation. India has always represented for me the most tolerant, welcoming, geologically panoramic and demographically exuberant societies in the world. Its democracy has not remained as independent under the current leadership, but I hope things will return to full tolerance of religion and freedom of expression.
       We need India as a balance to five other titans-Russia, America, China, Brazil and Indonesia. Of these six enormous powers, India is probably the least selfish, and most naturally intellectually gifted. I happily say that as a American.
     If it's birth rate could stabilize at 2.1, and environmental endowment be protected, India will become the global model for a pluralistic, prosperous and peace-loving future!

@piranhagod

India is a world of its own 🇮🇳

@advaitnaik8819

thank you for making that disclaimer not everyone respects the borders and everyone has a bias and as an Indian I do too and Kashmir has always been a part of india and due to our history with Pakistan it has always been an integral issue but the right hand side of Kashmir the Aksai Chin rigiions has been controlled by the Chinese military under the CCP and the occupation of Aksai Chin is straight up illegal and violates multiple treaties signed by the Chinese regime in the late 60's till the 70's but I appreciate you making it clear that this part of the region has significant geopolitical implications

@pavankumark6553

Appreciate the fact that you explicitly mentioned about the border disputes and made it clear for using such map of India. Made sure that nobody's sentiments are hurt.

@ChiSa123

10:20 Very happy you covered the islands as well as I was beginning to worry that you were only focussing on the mainland!
