Wow! I wonder if we were there around the same time. I don't know if you were on VA side or the MD side. I didin't go to Assateague this year, but I went last year. This year I was at Ocean City. I drove with my cocker spaniel Celeste! We were there for two days and one was a dreary foggy day. It was still magical!
