NYC: Metro-North Railroad at Harlem–125th Street
Today we are in Upper Manhattan, more precisely, in Harlem. Metro-North Railroad, which is a commuter railroad running out of Grand Central station has a stop at Harlem–125th Street, just one block away of the IRT Lexington Avenue line Subway station.
Harlem–125th Street is the only Metro-North station other than Grand Central in Manhattan. Any Metro-North train going into Grand Central has to either stop or pass this station, so it is quite busy.
The view from the southern platform end towards Midtown Manhattan is quite spectacular. One can see all the way to the MetLife building, which is right above Grand Central station. The tall and skinny skyscraper is the newly-built 432 Park Avenue luxury condo building, which at the time of filming was still under construction.
Enjoy.
Recorded at 1st October, 2015.
