The Superstition Mountains have been a place of terror for centuries. Hundreds of missing persons cases have led investigators to these mountains and some have never been found. The legend behind them reaches all the way back to the Apache Tribe who believed them to be a portal to the underworld, and cursed anyone who tried to steal gold from them. It is this curse that leads people to believe all who perish near the peaks will be cursed to wander the Arizona desert forever. At the base of the Superstition Mountains, sits the Goldfield Ghost Town, an attraction that simulates a wild west gold mining town. This place is said to be cursed and haunted, making even the bravest of souls running in terror.
